Coolmax. . . .

Coolmax is designed to aid moisture and heat management.

Originally designed for the Space programme in America, Coolmax has many useful properties which means this fabric has found itself being used in everything from sports wear to bedding.

The idea is similar to Outlast, but as the technology is significantly older and less expensive. The material uses micro-strands of fibre which are affectively hollow and allow the heat and moisture to be drawn away from its source.

This material is used particularly well on mattresses containing memory foam, as foam requires heat to soften up and mould to shape.
