A rare gem

You never know how good a company is until something goes wrong. In my case the issue was with the manufacturer not My Next Mattress. Throughout the period of my complaint this company have been 100% supportive, communication rapid and have lived up to their promise. In this world of commerce I feel I have had personal service of the highest quality. Our initial contact was also excellent and our mattress was delivered quickly and efficiently. Wouldn't go anywhere else from now on.

Customer focused

Customer focused, competitive, helpful and very efficient. Only issue I had was MNM omitted to include the agreed return of my old bed on the delivery documents, probably an oversight but caused me some inconvenience hence 4 stars.

The Sealy Jubilee Ortho has a Hand Tufted surface for increased strength and to allow the deep layers of surface Fibre ss to be bound securely.

Complete with a stunning, soft Tencel Fibre material cover, the Sealy Jubilee Ortho has four Flag Stitched handles for easy movement when required. As a no-turn mattress, the Sealy Jubilee Ortho only needs rotating from time to time. The mattress boasts a deep (20mm) layer of superbly comfortable Memory Foam to allow the mattress to perfectly match the contours of your body. The Sealy Jubilee Ortho also has Edge guard technology, which actually increases the sleeping surface area (compared with a mattress of the same size from another manufacturer).

The Jubilee Ortho Sealy mattress is built around the latest Sealy Firm spring unit. Known as Triple Offset Plus, the Spring Unit is designed to create a firmer feel, but manages to do this without compromising on comfort. The Jubilee Ortho allows the body to be supported completely and efficiently, spreading the weight across the surface of the mattress.

The Sealy Jubilee Ortho is a hand tufted mattress. This is a traditional technique of mattress upholstery where the fillings are secured by hand with tufts from the top of the mattress to the bottom. This technique prevents lumps from building up within the mattress which create uncomfortable pressure points, and it also prevents any bits of the mattress material from shifting.

The Sealy Jubilee Ortho Divan Bed is finished in a beautiful Slate colour, which looks superb in any setting. A range of drawer options make this Sealy bed amazing value for money and the 10 year Warranty makes the bed too good to ignore.

We deliver all Divans and Mattresses (excluding single size mattresses) to the room of choice, where we will unpack the goods and remove all packaging for recycling. Once the bed is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will contact you to arrange for delivery on a date and at a time that suits you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Add A Question

Is this mattress suitable for a slatted bed base (single)

Hello, Yes it is, as long as the slats are no more than 7cm apart from one another, as this can cause the springs to collapse. If the slats are too far apart, a simple layer of cardboard with small holes (for ventilation) will suffice to bridge the gaps.

Glossary

  • Memory Foam
  • Orthopaedic
  • Tufted
  • Turn / No Turn

Memory Foam was invented by NASA in 1966. The idea was to improve the safety of aircraft cushions, but it was not long before th material was developed further and used in more and more products. Memory Foam is an open cell construction, which reacts to body heat and weight. The more heat applied, the softer the material gets. This, in turn, allows the weight applied to sink deeper. Memory Foam can be made at various densities to result in different tensions/firmnesses.

The crucial element of Memory Foam is that it softens and moulds to the body shape. This ability allows for very accurate contour support and weight distribution. This ability makes Memory Foam a desirable material for mattresses. Some mattresses are completely Memory Foam, perhaps using different layers of various densities. Some mattresses use Memory Foam to compliment a Spring Unit.

As Memory Foam requires heat to achieve its desired state, the heat is stored. Some people are not keen on Memory Foam as this heat can gradually build, resulting in a warm bed. However, this stereotype can be seen as outdated, as many manufacturers have solved the issue by applying new techniques to compliment the Foam. Techniques such as Outlast and Coolmax. Memory Foam is also Hypoallergenic and is therefore very popular with Asthma and Allergy sufferers.

Orthopaedic mattresses are usually the firmest mattresses on the market. A common mistake made by those with back pain, is to assume that a firm Orthopaedic mattress will be the solution. Personal comfort and a correct diagnosis of the cause of the pain should always be saught before purchasing an Orthopaedic mattress.

Many brands have 'Ortho' mattresses. Terms used include 'Backcare' or 'Orthocare' and the theme is generally to produce a firmer feeling mattress. The idea is to create a mattress that the body can rest on without sinking in and bending the spine, causing pressure to build up. However, if a lighter person lays on a firmer mattress, they will find the spine will not align correctly as the loaded parts of the body (shoulders, hips etc) are not sitting correctly. For more information on the causes of back pain, click here or read about another solution in the Zoning description.

Tufting is a traditional and highly successful way of finishing a mattress surface. The end result makes the mattress appear to have dimples, or buttons dipping into the surface. This technique is designed to hold the surface materials together and to fix them to the core of the mattress to prevent the layers moving over time. A modern method is Spiral Tufting, which involves fixing the surface to the fillings and spring unit.

The actual tuft is usually made from a cotton felt material and is fastened by a cotton or wool chord to the spring unit, in most cases. A tufted mattress will normally have a firmer surface than a non-tufted/quilted surface. The reason for this is that the Tufting process actually holds the surface material and underlying fibre layers tightly together. This will create a tighter, firmer feel than a quilted mattress.

Some mattresses require turning over, to aid even settlement. Others do not require turning, but will still require rotating.
