A zip and link mattress is ultimately two separate mattress that can be zipped together. So, you can either use it as one big mattress, or two individual mattresses. They have many advantages and benefits, especially when it comes to guest bedrooms and homes where maximising space is of the essence.
The linking applies on the base and the zippers on the mattresses. It is extremely simple and easy to use, just think instead of using a zip on your jacket or coat, it’s just a relatively large mattress you’ll be using it on!
The Standard Sizes
There are currently three standard sizes available in the form of zip and link mattresses. There is the king size zip link, which has the dimensions of 5’0 x 6’6 and compromises of 2 x 2’6” x 6’6” beds. The last standard size is the super king zip link, which is 6’0 x 6’6 and includes 2 x 3’0” x 6’6” beds.
