The Sweet Dreams Novello mattress is a firm mattress, designed for those who want a firm feel! This mattress is part of the Sweet Dreams Sleepzone collection, and has been built around a spring unit which is specifically designed to be as firm as possible. If you like a firm feeling mattress without spending a fortune - this is the one for you.

The Sweet Dreams Sleepzone spring is based upon the standard Open Coil spring, but is intended to be firmer. These springs will compress and support the body as a normal spring would, but will require a lot more energy (weight) to do so. So this mattress is perfect for those of a larger frame, or who simply want a firm feel. The springs are great for spreading weight across the mattress, a very efficient and supportive technique, which has been used for many, many years.

Not only does the Novello has a firm spring unit, but this mattress has a fibre pad (no foam) that is already compressed to a relatively high degree, meaning the surface of the mattress is also firmer than most. These fibres are breathable and supportive.

This is a no-turn mattress, only requiring rotation once per Season (although we recommend this is done more often in the early weeks after delivery). There are handles and breather vents on the side of the mattress too. This is a hand tufted mattress, which ensures the firmness and durability is not compromised.
