The Uno Pocket 1000 mattress is a superb mattress made using orthopaedic, high density Memory Foam and 1000 pocket springs. Designed for those wanting the support and comfort of a Memory Foam mattress, but with the Orthopaedic function of a firm feeling mattress, the Uno Pocket 1000 also boasts superb value for money.
Breasley have developed a strong name for themselves in recent years, and as the UK's largest foam producer, they're able to offer the best specifications at the best prices. The Breasley company produce some of the finest Memory Foam mattresses on the market, and the new Uno Pocket 1000 is a great new addition. The 1000 Pocket Springs at the core of the mattress work in harmony with the foam on the surface.
The foam layer on the surface of this mattress is designed to be comfortable yet supportive, and will mould to the contours of the body instantly and accurately.
Delivered rolled up, the Breasley Uno mattress is vacuum packed, as the air can be sucked out of the Foam, this results in less packaging and easier shipment to you. Once the Pocket 1000 mattress is delivered to you, carefully remove the packaging and you will see the mattress inflate in front of you.
After opening the mattress, we recommend that you leave it in a well ventilated room for at least 5hrs before use.

Glossary
- Pocket Sprung
Pocket Sprung units are an adaption of the traditional open coil/continuous spring unit. By placing each spring in its own individual 'pocket' (a fabric sock-like pouch), the spring is not joined to any other part of the mattress. The pocket that supports the spring is then joined to its neighbouring pockets and this effect creates a unique feel.
By creating a spring unit in this way, it allows the springs to move independently, rather than sharing the pressure with surrounding springs. This effect allows for much more accurate contour following and a more comfortable feel overall.
If you were to push your hand into a traditionally sprung mattress, the area around your hand would dip/sink too. With Pocket Springs, this sunken area is much more remote and therefore more accurately follows the contours of the pressure source. There are differences in the techniques used to create Pocket Springs, but more or less they remain the same.
