Product Description
The name of this new Rest Assured bed perfectly sums up the feel it offers. This stunning Sublime 2000 bed is the very top of the range. A deep layer of luxurious Memory Foam on top of a 2000 Pocket Spring system ensures a wonderfully comfortable, luxurious and yet supportive bed.
The Rest Assured Sublime 2000 may well be the top of the range, but this bed is among our best-selling Pocket Spring mattresses. The 2000 springs at the heart of this mattress act like pistons, moving up and down according to the pressure applied. Each spring works independently from one another and this improves the support on offer. Other spring systems rely on the springs sharing the load between them, but this compromises on the quality and accuracy of the support. This Rest Assured mattress has 2000 Pocket Springs, and these are tuned to offer a luxurious, Medium comfort level.
On top of the supportive spring system sits a deep, soft and sumptuous layer of contour hugging Memory Foam. This deep layer is used to yet further increase the level of support on offer, as it moulds instantly to the contours of the body and encourages perfect posture. This foam layer is soft, luxurious and simply sublime.
This Rest Assured mattress is hand-tufted. This task is completed by hand and requires a great amount of skill. The tufts bind the surface layers and spring system together, focussing the tension of the mattress and ensuring a precise level of support. The tufts also prevent the layers of luxury fillings from moving over the years and increases the durability of the bed overall.
Other details add to the supreme attention to detail this mattress boasts. The side stitched borders add to the aesthetic quality of the bed, but also increase the strength of the sidewalls, preventing roll-off and increasing the size of the comfortable sleeping surface. The Rest Assured Sublime 2000 pocket sprung mattress has air vents for heat and moisture management, and handles for easy movement when required.

Glossary
- Pocket Sprung
Pocket Sprung units are an adaption of the traditional open coil/continuous spring unit. By placing each spring in its own individual 'pocket' (a fabric sock-like pouch), the spring is not joined to any other part of the mattress. The pocket that supports the spring is then joined to its neighbouring pockets and this effect creates a unique feel.
By creating a spring unit in this way, it allows the springs to move independently, rather than sharing the pressure with surrounding springs. This effect allows for much more accurate contour following and a more comfortable feel overall.
If you were to push your hand into a traditionally sprung mattress, the area around your hand would dip/sink too. With Pocket Springs, this sunken area is much more remote and therefore more accurately follows the contours of the pressure source. There are differences in the techniques used to create Pocket Springs, but more or less they remain the same. - Sizes

- Tufted
Tufting is a traditional and highly successful way of finishing a mattress surface. The end result makes the mattress appear to have dimples, or buttons dipping into the surface. This technique is designed to hold the surface materials together and to fix them to the core of the mattress to prevent the layers moving over time. A modern method is Spiral Tufting, which involves fixing the surface to the fillings and spring unit.
The actual tuft is usually made from a cotton felt material and is fastened by a cotton or wool chord to the spring unit, in most cases. A tufted mattress will normally have a firmer surface than a non-tufted/quilted surface. The reason for this is that the Tufting process actually holds the surface material and underlying fibre layers tightly together. This will create a tighter, firmer feel than a quilted mattress.
