The orthopaedic Caesar bed from Shakespeare is a double sided mattress containing luxury white fillings which are hand tufted for ultimate comfort and to give it that extra support. The Shakespeare Caesar features a 12.5 gauge open coil spring unit and will provide long lasting support whilst you sleep.

The 12.5 gauge Open Coil spring unit contained within the Shakespeare Caesar is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress. This lets you sleep right up to the edge and allows you the full use of the mattress width. This is a traditional spring unit which will stand the test of time.

The Shakespeare Caesar is a traditionally Hand Tufted mattress. Tufting creates extra firmness and offers soft touch orthopaedic support. Tufting is a traditional technique of mattress upholstery where the fillings are secured by hand with tufts from the top of the mattress to the bottom. This technique prevents lumps from building up within the mattress which create uncomfortable pressure points, and it also prevents any bits of the mattress material from shifting. To help with rotating and turning the mattress there are handles on either side.
