4000 Pocket Sprung Mattress Topper

The 4000 Pocket Sprung mattress topper is one of the most luxurious accessories available today. 13cm deep and supremely comfortable, this hand made topper is produced in Yorkshire and uses 4000 individual pocket springs as well as layer upon layer of luxury fillings. This topper is soft, supportive and will add a truly sumptuous feel to any bed it's placed on.

The 4000 pocket springs in this mattress are designed to be soft, but supportive, instantly mirroring the contours of the body, but thanks to the gauge of wire used in the spring, they're soft and very comfortable. Each spring will compress as weight is applied, moving up and down like a piston. As each of the 4000 springs are held in their own fabric pocket, they do not move when surrounding springs move, which results in very accurate support.

As well as the excellent springs, this mattress topper has layer upon layer of hand applied natural fillings. Not only are these fillings very comfortable, but they're also breathable, allowing for air to move freely through the mattress during the night, keeping you cool and comfortable at all times. The fillings are Wool, Silk and Cashmere, each selected for their luxurious nature.

This topper has been finished with a soft and tactile cover fabric, which is natural and breathable, further adding to the comfort of the topper. As a tufted topper, you'll note the 'button-like' details on the surface, which is the result of cords being passed through, binding the springs and fillings in place to prevent the luxury fillings from moving over time, increasing the durability.

This is a turnable mattress topper. Due to the natural fillings, the topper can be turned and rotated easily to allow for even settlement initially, but to add to durability over time. We would recommend turning or rotating each time the bedding is changed.
