At the centre of this mattress is a firm 12.5 gauge Open Coil spring unit. These springs are joined by one continuous wire, providing efficient support exactly where and when it is needed. This spring unit is made to be quite firm, adding to the stability to the core of the mattress. The springs will spread the body weight energy as weight is applied and will do so instantly. As one of the longest-running spring types in the World, you can be sure that an Open Coil spring unit is very durable and very good value for money.

Dura Beds have added a deep, luxurious layer of Memory Foam to the top of this no-turn mattress. This 7cm deep layer is relatively high-density, but still soft enough to feel comfortable and sumptuous. This foam layer works in perfect harmony with the springs underneath. Comfortable and yet supportive, the foam will slowly mould to mirror the contours of the body, which will promote good posture and prevent aches and pains from forming.

This is a no-turn mattress, but it will still require rotating (spinning around) once per season. There are handles on the sides of the mattress to aid movement when required. This mattress is quilted, with an even and smooth surface, and the cover fabric is a soft and silky-smooth stretch-knit fabric. Dura Beds have also used a breather vent strip around this mattress to aid ventilation throughout the night.
