The Duvalay Topaz is part of the all new Hilary Devey Bed Collection, a range of beds and mattresses that has been designed and hand built to showcase how luxurious a bed can be, without breaking the bank. This new range is wonderfully well made, incredibly luxurious and hugely popular!

The Duvalay Topaz mattress is hand made, and very well crafted. There is a 1200 Pocket Spring unit at the core of this mattress. Each spring will act like a piston to move up and down as weight is applied. These springs are kept apart from one another, sealed into their own fabric 'pocket'. This has the effect of allowing each spring to focus on a precise area of the body, not being compromised by it's neighbouring springs. The other effect of this spring type is that it is great for preventing movement through the mattress, limiting disturbance to and from your partner.

Duvalay have hand applied a wonderfully deep, natural and breathable layer of fillings to the Topaz. This mattress is a turnable mattress, so the fillings are on both sides. These deep fillings are deep and very luxurious, as is the intention of the Hilary Devey Bed Collection. The Topaz has a Winter side and a Summer side, so it will remain comfortable no matter the Season.

The luxurious fillings are held in place thanks to the hand tufting process. These are the dimple like features you'll see on the surface of the mattress, which are the ends of cords, which have been fed through the mattress to make sure it maintains a precise level of tension, but also to hold the fillings in place.

This hand made mattress has breather vents on all sides to ensure the mattress will remain cool and dry throughout the night. It also has handles for easy movement when required. There is side stitching on the borders of the mattress, which will increase the strength of the sidewalls, acting to increasing the size of the comfortable sleeping surface.
