Harrison does everything with the same level of detail, which includes producing their own wool on their farm in Yorkshire and even making their own springs. The Harrison Amber 6700 is a handmade masterpiece. This mattress has a Pocket Spring unit at its core, boasting the excellent (and patented) HD springs that Harrison's mattresses have been featuring in recent years. This spring system is very clever and provides support and comfort that no other spring on the market today can offer. A HD spring is made of a titanium alloy, making them very strong yet light. These springs are crafted in 3 dimensions, meaning the support provided is very precise and carefully considered. This approach also means that air can easily move through the mattress, keeping it cool and dry and further enhancing the comfort offered.

Specifications

The Harrison Amber 6700 has a deep, sumptuous layer of hand applied natural fillings on each sleeping surface. This supremely comfortable pad is sublime! The layers are natural, breathable and of the highest quality. Harrison's use the wool grown on their own farm to be sure the quality is as good as it should be. Wool is naturally great at maintaining a comfortable temperature, but it is also anti-dust mite. 

This Harrison mattress is tufted by hand. This process is very skilled, and gives the mattress a specific level of firmness, as well as keeping the fillings in place. The process is time honoured and requires a very experienced and skilled craftsman to produce the work to the standard Harrison Beds are famous for.

There are two sides to this mattress, a Winter side and a Summer side. Each has a very slightly different blend of fillings, which means this mattress is perfect, no matter the season.

There are two rows of hand side stitched borders on the Amber 6700 mattress. This increases the strength of the sidewalls, which is of particular benefit for a Double size or smaller. This process is another skilled one and sees a cord fixed through the mattress, binding the walls to the core of the mattress.

The base and headboards within the Harrison Beds collection are built to the same exacting standards as the mattress. The Divan base of the Amber 6700 carries 2500 Pocket Springs, as well as ‘True Edge' technology, increasing the strength of the outer edges of the base, which in turn will stop the feeling of ‘falling out of bed' and offering support to the mattress right up to the edge of the base. The Divan bases and headboards will be among the finest items of furniture in any household and are built to last as well as look stunning.
