The Emerald is built around a 14,000 pocket spring unit, which sees Harrison's Nested Revolution Joey spring topped with the revolutionary HD lightweight titanium alloy springs. The combination of the two spring types is excellent and means that each spring will not only focus its support on a very precise area of the body's contours but will also be able to have one function, be it support or comfort. As the body compresses the mattress, the springs will compress accordingly, but unlike other bed makers, a Harrison spring will change tension as it compresses, ensuring the support is extremely precise.
