Harrison Beds have introduced the St Moritz 12000 into the already excellent Bed Tailor Collection. This new addition has proven very popular in a short period of time. Harrison Beds have built the St Moritz around an incredible 12000 Pocket Spring unit, which acts to conform to the body’s contours precisely and instantly. Not only is the support instant and precise, but it is also without compromise. This mattress can be ordered in your choice of Gentle Comfort, Medium or Firm Comfort, but none of these selections will impact on the support offered, as the Harrison springs are supportive no matter what firmness you select.

The St Moritz is a pillow top mattress, with a deep, deep pad on the surface which is full of hand applied, natural fillings. This deep pad is built into the mattress, but removed from the main spring system, allowing the fillings to remain looser and softer as a result. The pillow top pad boasts fillings including Wool (grown on the Harrison Beds farm), Silk, Egyptian Cotton & Mohair blend, Cotton blend and Hemp (grown on the Harrison Beds farm). These natural fillings have been selected for their breathability and comfort. Each layer of fibre filling works in harmony with the next, and the end result is absolutely wonderful.

As there is only one sleeping surface on the St Moritz, it is a no-turn mattress and therefore only requires rotating once per Season. We suggest the rotation is done more often that this in the first few months however. There are handles on the sides of this mattress to aid movement when required. This is a heavy mattress, but we deliver to the room of choice and unpack for you, free.

The Harrison Beds St Moritz 12000 is a hand tufted mattress. These tufts appear like dimples in the surface of the mattress, and is created by feeding a cord through the mattress, fixing the surface layers to the core of the springs, which helps control the level of tension on the mattress, as well as ensuring that the surface layers do not move about through the mattress’ long lifespan.

The Harrison Beds St Moritz 12000 has been finished in a soft, tactile and silky smooth cover material. This fabric is in itself micro-quilted and is supremely comfortable. The fabric selected is also breathable, and works in conjunction with the fillings to allow for air to pass through the mattress easily, keeping it cool and dry at all times.

There are two rows of side stitched borders in this Harrison mattress. These hand applied rows increase the strength of the sidewall, and sees a cord fixed through the mattress, binding the walls to the core of the mattress.

The base and headboards within the Harrison collection are built to the same high standards as the mattresses. The Divan base of the St Moritz carries 2500 Pocket Springs, as well as ‘True Edge’ technology, which increases the strength of the perimeter of the base, preventing the feeling of ‘falling out of bed’ and offering support to the mattress right up to the edge of the base.
