Construction and Support
At the core of the Hypnos Cotton Select mattress is the Re-Active™ 7-turn pocket spring system. Each spring is designed to sense your body's weight and shape, providing independent support that helps maintain spinal alignment. The 7-turn configuration allows for a responsive feel, ensuring that pressure points are supported effortlessly, while the overall structure remains supportive. Each spring moves up and down as weight is applied, moving like a piston to provide contour-precise support tailored for you specifically. Not only this, but pocket springs are excellent at preventing the movement of a restless partner disturbing you through the night.

For the comfort layers, Hypnos has hand-applied a blend of responsibly sourced cotton and eOlus™ recycled fibres. Cotton is naturally breathable and aids in temperature regulation by wicking moisture away from the body. The eOlus™ comfort layer is a sustainable fibre created from recycled polymer, which allows for air to circulate freely within the mattress, contributing to a cooler and more hygienic sleep environment. Design and Durability
This Hypnos mattress is finished with a soft, breathable viscose sleep surface. This luxurious fabric cover provides a smooth texture that complements the internal upholstery, and is as silky soft and tactile as it is durable. The mattress is hand-tufted, a traditional technique where tufts are passed through the entire depth of the mattress to secure the internal fillings in place, preventing "settling" and ensuring a consistent feel across the entire surface.

The Hypnos Cotton Select is a single-sided, no-turn mattress. This design eliminates the need for heavy lifting and flipping; instead, it only requires regular rotation to ensure even wear. Flag-stitched side handles are included to assist with this process. We recommend that this mattress be rotated (spun around) once per season, but we also strongly suggest this process be done weekly for the first month after delivery, to ensure even settlement.
