Designed specifically for individuals seeking extra spinal support, this Hypnos mattress features the well-known Re-Active™ 6-turn pocket spring system. Each individual spring works independently to contour to the body, though the 6-turn geometry is engineered to provide a stiffer, more resistive feel compared to softer models. This makes it an ideal choice for sleepers who require a more rigid surface to prevent sinking. Each spring will move to support the body precisely, 'reacting' to your movement, weight and posture. The comfort layers are a blend of authentic wool, cotton, and eOlus™ recycled fibre fillings. These materials are hand-applied over the spring unit to provide a firm yet comfortable surface that promotes a dry and fresh sleeping climate.

Practical Features and Maintenance
The exterior is encased in a high-quality viscose cover fabric that is both tactile and durable, as well as being highly breathable. To ensure the internal components remain compressed and supportive over time, the mattress is hand-tufted. This traditional finishing method involves threading ribbons through the mattress at regular intervals, which anchors the fillings and creates a uniform firmness across the sleeping area, increasing the durability of the mattress and controlling the overall tension and firmness precisely.

Designed for ease of use, the popular Hypnos Ortho Select is a single-sided, no-turn mattress. This means you do not have to flip the mattress over to maintain its shape; a simple end-to-end rotation (spinning it around) using the stitched side handles is sufficient to prolong its lifespan and performance. We recommend that this process be done every season (13 weeks), but we also suggest that this process is done weekly for the first month after delivery to ensure even settlement.
