We want you to have peace of mind when choosing your new mattress. Our 60-night Sleep Trial* allows you to use the mattress, not happy - we'll swap it for you!

All new mattresses on our website are covered by our Sleep Trial, this is done automatically when also buying a mattress protector from us. All mattresses we collect are then sold through outlets or on our clearance website.

Sleep Trial FAQ's

Do all mattresses come with a Sleep Trial?

Every new mattress at MyNextMattress comes with a 60-night trial as standard. Some mattresses have slightly longer trial periods and this will be clearly shown on those product pages.

How does the Sleep Trial work?
  1. The comfort trial will automatically commence from the day after your delivery.
  2. You must purchase a new mattress protector as part of your initial order with us and use it throughout the trial period to keep it safe and in good condition should you wish to exchange it.
  3. We require you to sleep on the mattress for a minimum of 30 nights before requesting a mattress exchange.
  4. If you are not completely happy with the mattress, you will need to notify us before the end of the trial period by completing the form at the bottom of this page.
  5. We will then arrange for your exchange for another mattress from our website.
  6. We will deliver your new mattress at the same time as collecting the original one. We will also bring collection packaging too.
Do I have to pay for the Sleep Trial?

The Sleep Trial is completely free, but there is a carriage fee of £50 for the exchange.

Can you refund my order during the Sleep Trial?

No, the Sleep Trial is to allow you extra time to try the mattress fully. We cannot accept cancellations during the Sleep Trial period.

Do I have to keep the original packaging of the mattress?

No, we want you to try the mattress as it is intended, so please unwrap and use it as you normally would. We simply request that a mattress protector be ordered at the time of ordering the mattress and used throughout the trial period.

What will you do with my returning mattress if I swap?

We have a discount clearance section on this website and we have outlet stores in our home city of Leicester. We sell the returned items completely separately from the new mattresses we deliver, and you will never receive a 'second' from us.

Sleep Trial Terms & Conditions

If after 30 nights you are not completely happy with your mattress, a notification must be made to MyNextMattress via the form below, but no more than 60 days from the day after delivery.


You cannot request an exchange prior to the 30th day nor after the 60th day of your trial.


There is a £50 exchange fee and the exchange will take place on a date selected by you.


In the event that a higher-priced alternative mattress is chosen, then any difference in price must be paid at the time of reselection.


In the event that a lower-priced alternative mattress is chosen, then any difference in price will not be refunded to you.


You are able to choose from any mattress or brand on MyNextMattress for your replacement mattress. Replacement mattresses are exempt from our price match promise or any free gift offers.


All original packaging can be removed from the mattress, however, a mattress protector must have been purchased from us and used for the duration of the trial period.


The original mattress is to be returned in perfect condition. Photographs of the mattress will be required prior to the exchange being authorised. The mattress must be used on a base or bedframe of sufficient quality and support. If it is to be used on a bedframe, the slat gap must be no more than 7cm.


The ’60-Night Sleep Trial’ is limited to one exchange per purchase and cannot be substituted for a refund.


The ’60 Night Sleep Trial’ does not apply to mattresses which are defective due to misuse, wilful damage, accidental damage, unauthorised repairs or alterations, neglect or general wear and tear.


The ’60 Night Sleep Trial’ only applies to mattresses only and excludes divan bases, clearance items, headboards or bedding products including pillows.


The ’60 Night Sleep Trial’ does not apply to mattresses taken offshore (from GB).


Only the original purchaser may invoke the ’60 Night Sleep Trial’.


From the point of activating your sleep trial exchange, there is a 21 day time period in which you must confirm your choice of replacement. Confirmation outside of this time will void the sleep trial.


If any of the above conditions are not met, the ’60 Night Sleep Trial’ will be declined.
