It is made from natural fillings, including Cotton, British Lambs Wool and eOlus Fibres which is a smart fibre. This mattress is incredibly supportive, and very comfortable, but is recommended for those who prefer an extra firm feel! It's from the popular Hypnos Orthos collection.
Hypnos Orthos Extra Specifications
This Orthopaedic mattress is handmade in Buckinghamshire and is made using only the finest materials. It boasts an excellent Pocket Spring system, designed to support the body perfectly, at all times. This Pocket Spring unit has ReActive Spring, which not only move independently from each other but also increases in firmness as they are put under increasing pressure. This means that the areas that support the heavier parts of the body will compress more, but the spring will fight back, becoming firmer and more supportive. As each spring is independent from its neighbours, the springs can concentrate on a very specific part of the body, resulting in very accurate and precise support.
The Hypnos Orthos Extra mattress has a deep layer of natural fillings on the surface. These fillings include Wool and eOlus fibres, which work perfectly together to offer a luxurious feel. These layers are compressed to a higher density than other mattresses, thus ensuring a firmer feel than most. Wool is also completely breathable and naturally bed bug resistant. These deep surface layers are bound together by hand. This process is called Tufting and ensures the fillings and the spring unit are bound together, ensuring durability as well as a solid, stable mattress.
The cover material is a high-quality silver infused bamboo Damask. This extraordinary fabric will remain cool, dry, and also acts to encourage healthier sleep. The mattress features air vents too, aiding moisture and heat management. As a turnable mattress, this Hypnos mattress has handles for easy movement when required.
