We will do one of three things:
- A local charity may want it. We have given them many items in the last year
- We may recycle the mattress
- Some mattresses cannot be recycled, and so we use a local disposal service to take care of the goods.
Product Description
Featuring three layers of pocket springs and a natural fibre comfort layer, the Komfi Rhea Natural Pocket 5000 is a lusciously comfortable, softer-feeling mattress. Combining the benefits of natural fibres, springs, and Komfi's excellent Ecofoam and Ecoadvance materials, the Rhea Natural Pocket 5000 is a greener choice for a healthier sleep.
Support is provided from two areas - a base layer of 50mm of Ecofoam, and three layers of pocket springs encased with Ecofoam for balanced edge-to-edge support. Ecofoam is a re-engineered foam material that offers stable support with an extremely low carbon footprint. Pocket sprung support is split over three layers. 1000 full-sized springs give individual, accurate body support, whilst a layer of 2500 micro springs and a further layer of 1500 micro springs mould the sleeping surface to your body, releasing pressure points and aiding recovery.
The pocket spring layers support two additional comfort layers. Firstly, a 60mm layer of Ecoadvance. Ecaoadvance is an environmentally friendly alternative to memory foam that is not only extremely good at relieving body pressure but very breathable too. This layer works in perfect harmony with the micro springs below it, giving the mattress a softer, gently cushioning feel.
The Final piece of the Natural 5000 is the natural element itself - a comfort layer of wool, silk and cashmere - that further increases breathability on the sleeping surface and adds an extra luxurious layer of softness. The Natural 5000 is finished with an anti-allergy, probiotic Purotex cover, for a healthier, fresher sleep.
This is a no-flip mattress, however, the cover features four handles for ease of rotation for easy maintenance. The Rhea Natural 5000 mattress is covered by a 10-year guarantee from Komfi.
