This USA-Style mattress is packed full of new features from Milbrook, one of which is the SmoothTech tuft-free sleeping surface. The SmoothTech surface is lusciously smooth and delightfully comfortable, combining the benefits of a tufted mattress without the presence of tufts. If you particularly dislike the feel of tufts on a sleeping surface but want to benefit from the structural security provided by an inner tufted mattress design, the Hildene  2000 mattress is a perfect place to rest.

The sleeping surface may be all new and USA style, however, beneath this lies layer after layer of natural, locally sourced materials packed expertly by British craftspeople. English spun cotton and Hampshire wool are topped with a  soft comfort layer. These materials are all naturally soft and breathable materials, creating a favourable microclimate and keeping air flowing through the mattress as you sleep, even in the hotter months.

The core of the Hildene  2000 mattress features 1000 individual pockets springs topped with a further 1000 comfort springs. These two layers of springs will keep your body weight supported no matter the position you sleep in, with each spring reacting independently of the next to tailor the support to your needs. These springs are fully encapsulated by the NemoFlex mattress core. This brand new material is a sustainable alternative to foam, and acts as edge support to the mattress, reducing the sensation of rolling off as you reach the edges of the mattress, as well as providing further comfort layers for you to sink into after a long day!

This mattress is a no-turn mattress. We recommend rotating this mattress seasonally, with increased rotation immediately after purchase to allow the natural fibres to settle.
