The Edinburgh 1400 is topped with a luxuriously soft Tencel fibre cover and is filled with natural fibre fillings as well as 1400 supportive pocket springs. Handmade by Milbrooks' expert bed makers in Hampshire, you know that a Millbrook mattress will always be of the highest quality.
A core of 1400 hand-nested pocket springs forms the base of the Edinburgh 1400 Mattress. In order to evenly distribute your weight as you sleep. Pocket springs move independently of one another as they're sat within their own fabric 'pocket'. The ability to react independently to shifts in tension on the mattress helps to keep your body and spine supported fully throughout the night, and reduces the sensation of roll-off commonly associated with mattresses that use open coil springs. These springs are placed precisely into Millbrook's own unique zonal edge spring system, designed to support your body precisely where it needs it most. The edges of the Edinburgh mattress are made even stronger with two rows of side stitching.
The Edinburgh range features an beautiful Tencel fibre knitted quilted top. Tencel is naturally supremely soft and hypo-allergenic and makes for a sumptuous sleeping surface. Beneath this sumptuous quilted top is layer upon layer of bouncy, temperature regulating English Fine Cotton and Hampshire wool. Millbrook are famed for their natural fibre fillings, and the Edinburgh 1000 mattress is no exception, with only the finest materials layered within it.
