The London 6000 Deluxe mattress is zoned. This means that the areas of the body that require more support, will get this. Millbrook has 'zoned' the mattress so that the lumbar region and shoulder region have firmer springs inside. This simple detail makes a huge difference and not only means you'll get great support but means you'll get great support.

Pocket springs move up and down as weight is applied. As they're in their own 'pocket' of fabric, they're kept apart from one another and so the accuracy of their support is extremely sensitive and precise. This will, in turn, result in good posture and the prevention of aches and pains that can form overnight, often manifesting themselves in lower back pain that gradually wears off throughout the day.
Millbrook has used two layers of springs in this mattress. The core is a supportive, foundation layer of 1000 springs that do the hard work. On top of this is a more refined, delicate layer that is slightly softer and offers more comfort than it does support.

On top of the springs, Millbrook has applied layer upon layer of wonderfully comfortable and breathable natural fillings. These layers include English Cotton, Hampshire Wool and natural Silk. The layers combine to work together in harmony, providing a fabulous 'cloud-like' feel initially, complimenting the support zoned springs underneath. Not only are these fillings breathable and luxurious, but they naturally deter bed bugs and dust mites. As this is a turnable mattress, the fillings are on both sides.

The London 6000 mattress has breather vents and handles on all sides. There are 3 rows of side stitched borders, which increase the strength of the sidewalls and ensure you have edge-to-edge support at all times, which is particularly beneficial in the Double size or smaller.
