Millbrook Rushmore 20 - Chittenden & Eastman Collection

The Millbrook Rushmore  20 Mattress is a brand new addition to the Millbrook range that has been developed in partnership with the American bed-makers Chittenden & Eastman. This turnable mattress features unique features such as the cutting-edge NemoFlex™ mattress core technology, as well as the tuft-free Smooth-Tech™ sleeping surface. This range of mattresses has been developed with sustainability at the forefront of its design, helping you sleep that bit easier.

The Rushmore  20 mattress is unique in the SmoothTech range in that it is a turnable mattress. The core of the Rushmore  is made with an excellent 1000 pocket spring unit, which is fully encapsulated by the NemoFlex mattress core. The pocket springs are designed to each react independently of one another as you move on the bed, providing targeted support.

The Nemoflex technology that encapsulates the springs serves multiple uses within the mattress. Firstly, it helps strengthen the sides of the mattress and increases the edge support of the mattress. This helps to reduce the sensation of roll-off that can be quite common in modern mattresses and enables you to use more of the sleeping surface. Secondly, the top and bottom layers serve as an additional comfort layer within the mattress, not dissimilar to the way memory foam is often used with hybrid foam/pocket sprung mattresses. NemoFlex technology, however, is made with the planet in mind and is an eco-friendly alternative to foam. Millbrook and Chittenden & Eastman have designed the Rushmore  20 with sustainability at the forefront, not as an afterthought.

Either side of the mattress core are expertly placed layers of Hampshire wool and a soft comfort layer. These layers are 100% natural materials and are lusciously soft and naturally breathable, helping encourage what Millbrook calls a "favourable microclimate" within the mattress, keeping both you and the mattress cooler and healthier throughout the night. 

The Rushmore  20 mattress uses the brand new Smooth Tech sleeping surface. This sleeping surface is tuft-free, however, the mattress is a tufted mattress. Millbrook have used inner tufting to keep the fillings of the mattress secure, whilst the sleeping surface remains beautifully tuft free! Perfect for those who prefer natural mattresses but prefer the feel of a quilted mattress.

This is a turnable mattress. MyNextMattress recommends a seasonal turn, with increased frequency of turning immediately after purchasing the mattress, to allow for the natural fillings to settle.
