We’ll collect your old mattress or bed and take it away for responsible recycling.

- A local charity may want it. We have given them many items in the last year
- We may recycle the mattress
- Some mattresses cannot be recycled, and so we use a local disposal service to take care of the goods.

The Original Bedstead Company hold the Selkirk in high regard because, for many years, it has been the most popular traditional bedstead within their brass and iron bedstead collection.
This bedstead is available in a selection of sizes, making is suitable for everyone, and is guaranteed to bring personality and character into your bedroom. Supported by a strong sprung slatted base, the Selkirk provides support to your mattress where greater weight is placed so that you can sleep comfortably night after night.
The final flourish to this famous bedstead, is the ability to raise or lower the height of the frame. The frame work sits into solid support legs, and this fixing can be selected, to allow for underbed storage, easy access and so on.
