The Relyon Penhurst mattress is a splendid pillow top mattress with layers of natural fibre blends and pocket sprung support. Relyon's decades of bed-making experience, layer upon layer of soft, natural fibre fillings as well as pocket spring and mini-spring support make the Penhurst 2350 Pillowtop mattress an excellent luxury mattress with quality guaranteed.
The Penhurst mattress contains 2350 pocket springs (in a kingsize mattress). These springs provide a stable base of support within the mattress core, whilst mini springs in the pillowtop contour to your body to provide more targeted support.
Firmer springs have been used around the edges of the mattress to increase the usable surface area of the mattress by strengthing the sides. Three rows of side stitching also strengthen the sidewalls of the mattress. Combined these springs provide ample support and ease pressure gently away from you and your partner throughout the night.
Natural fibre fillings are used to gently soften the support provided by the layers of springs. In the Penhurst 2350 uses soft and durable wool and alpaca layer and layers of mountain-bred, 100% British wool. These fibres make the Relyon Penhurst mattress lusciously soft, allowing you to sink into the mattress at the end of a long day, but remains fantastically supportive thanks to the naturally responsive qualities of the fibres and springs.
This no-turn pillowtop mattress is finished in a naturally soft and breathable Belgian Damask cover and is hand-tufted with wool tufts to secure the natural fillings in place. We recommend a seasonal rotation to properly maintain this mattress, with increased frequency in the months immediately after purchase to help the fibres settle correctly.
