The 2000 Pocket Springs work in harmony with the Memory Foam layer on the surface, offering firm feeling support as well as comfort. This is also a Foam Encapsulated mattress, providing strong side walls and an increased sleeping surface area.

The 2000 Pocket Springs in this mattress work like pistons to move up and down as weight is applied. This process allows the springs to conform and mirror the contours of the body precisely, relieving aches and pains and preventing pressure points from forming. Pocket Springs work independently, so you can be assured of each spring working on a specific area without being compromised by the surrounding springs.

This Shakespeare mattress has a deep (6.5cm) layer of supportive and comfortable Memory Foam. This layer will gradually mould to the contours of the body, mirroring it's form exactly and increasing the support already on offer. This is a wonderfully comfortable feeling and further improves your posture.

Memory Foam is not only used on the sleeping surface of this mattress, but is also used on the sides too. This is called Foam Encapsulation, and frames the spring unit with foam on all sides, to increase the strength of the side walls of the mattress. This has the effect of actually increasing the comfortable sleeping surface area, as you will feel supported right the way up to the edge of the mattress.

The Lunar 2000 is a no turn mattress, so will only require Seasonal rotation (not flipping over). This mattress is finished in a luxuriously soft stretch knit fabric, which is tactile and remains cool. This mattress has breather vents and handles too, for easy movement when required.
