The core support within the Natural 7000 is, yep, you guessed it, 7000 pocket springs. These pocket springs provide reliable, firmer support that is cushioned gently by natural fibre fillings. Pocketed springs allow for more precise support as you lay on the mattress, as each spring can respond uniquely to your movements. The 7000 springs (in the kingsize) are meticulously placed by Shakespeare's expert bed-makers within the mattress to keep you supported throughout the night, wicking away aches and pains to leave you waking up refreshed and ready for the day. 

The sidewalls of the Natural 7000 mattress are Hand Side-Stitched to increase the edge support along the edges of the mattress, allowing the full length and breadth of the sleeping surfaces to be used.

Layers upon layers of natural fillings - wool, silk and cashmere - are packed in either side of the springs, each one with a purpose. Wool is extremely durable and has key organic properties that make it excellent mattress filling. Wool is not only a comfortable material but will wick away moisture to keep you cool as you sleep. Cashmere is a beautifully soft material that is naturally breathable, used in the Natural 7000 to increase the level of luxurious comfort.

Finally, Silk fibres are added to increase the airflow within the mattress, and further assist with temperature regulation. Naturally breathable, combined with wool and cashmere layers, silk is the flake on the 99 that adds to the comfort levels and naturally extends the mattress' lifespan by maintaining a healthy microclimate within the mattress. Vents have also been placed along the sidewalls to increase ventilation within the mattress.

The Natural 7000 mattress is a double-sided, tufted mattress covered in a soft Viscose fabric.  We recommend turning and rotating the Shakespeare Natural 7000 mattress seasonally, with increased frequency immediately after you receive your mattress. This is to allow the natural fibre fillings to settle correctly.
