We will do one of three things:
- A local charity may want it. We have given them many items in the last year
- We may recycle the mattress
- Some mattresses cannot be recycled, and so we use a local disposal service to take care of the goods.
Product Description
The Shire beds Solaris range will leave you drifting peacefully into a simply cosmic sleep. The Orion 1000 mattress features 1000 pocket springs and deep layers of soft polyester for support and comfort, with a breathable soft quilted cover to finish.
The spring core of the Orion mattress is pocket sprung. 1000 individual pocket springs each independent of one another. Shire beds have used Butterfly Springs in the Orion mattress for increased support. Butterfly springs are designed to offer a slightly firmer, all-round support than standard springs. Packed in and around this core of springs are deep layers of soft polyester. This high-density material compliments the spring unit and offers a comforting softness to the mattress, without losing the support of the springs.
The Orion 1000 mattress uses a breathable 3D mesh border to increase circulation within the mattress. This increased airflow helps reduce heat build-up and keeps the mattress healthier for longer. The Orion is completed with a high-quality, soft quilted knit fabric made with bamboo to further assist heat regulation in the mattress. Bamboo is extra soft too - the technical bits can't compromise on comfort!
This mattress is double-sided. Here at MyNextMattress, we recommend a seasonal turn, with increased frequency in the months after purchase.
