What will we do with your old bed/mattress?
We will do one of three things:
- A local charity may want it. We have given them many items in the last year
- We may recycle the mattress
- Some mattresses cannot be recycled, and so we use a local disposal service to take care of the goods.
Product Description
The Shire Beds Ortho Tufted Mattress is suitable for both adults and children. Open coil Bonnel springs for a firmer feel and a steel rod edge support.
Shire Beds have used a 12.5G open coil Bonne spring unit as the core support system of the Essential Ortho Tufted mattress. This spring system is designed to give extra firm support. Packed around this spring system are four layers of natural, firm, fibres. These layers are expertly arranged so that the same feel is achieved on either side of this turnable mattress.
The edges of the Ortho Tufted are supported further by a steel rod edge, which is designed to strengthen the edges of the mattress to reduce the sensation of rolling off the bed and thus extend the usable surface area of the mattress.
Finished with tufted cotton panels and a quilted border.
This is a turnable mattress so can be flipped and used on both sides. There are handles along the sides of the mattress to assist with this. MyNextMattress recommends a seasonal turn.
This mattress is suitable for both adults and children. Shire Beds have covered this mattress with a 5-year warranty.
This product will be delivered to you for FREE by our two-man team (mainland UK).
