Underneath the deep layer of Gel is a 3cm deep layer of memory foam. This memory foam layer is slightly firmer than the gel layer and offers the perfect bridge between the softer surface layer and the supportive foam underneath. The foundation layers of this no turn mattress are two 8cm deep layers of supportive foam. These layers are not in place to provide comfort, that's already taken care of by the top two layers.
