- A local charity may want it. We have given them many items in the last year
- We may recycle the mattress
- Some mattresses cannot be recycled, and so we use a local disposal service to take care of the goods.
Product Description
The Sports Therapy range has been with us since the 2012 Olympics in London and has continued to improve every year with many big names in sport choosing it for its pressure-relieving support and comfort. Sports Therapy set out to create a range of mattresses that were specifically designed to offer a deep, restful and rejuvenating night's sleep.
The Sports Therapy Gel mattress is firmer where the heaviest parts of your body are (shoulders and lumbar region for instance) and softer where the lighter parts are. Two-thirds of body weight is located in the centre third. This zoned approach gives unrivalled support and will hold your body in the perfect position, maintaining good posture and preventing pressure points from forming.
The mattress has a castellated layer meaning that many channels are cut into the foam section which allows very precise movement around your shape and allows air to flow freely inside to stop any build up of heat. These air channels are then topped with a deep Gel pad, which in itself boasts a very open cell formula. Maintaining a cool and comfortable night's sleep will enhance the circulation of blood around the body, which means that you toss and turn less, and therefore you will achieve a deeper stage of sleep for longer.
The Sports Therapy Gel mattress is covered in the same breathable material that professional sports people wear and coupled with a bug guard that is made from natural eucalyptus killing dust mites and bed bugs for those of us with allergies.
