An upholstered bedstead is a traditional bedframe, which is designed to surround and support the mattress. Most bedsteads have slats rather than a solid board, although this is not always the case.

Not always, although we do have package deals on offer sometimes, which do offer the full set, mattress and bedframe.

Sprung slats are normally beech slats that have a slight curve to them. This curvature is designed to compress slightly as the mattress weight is applied, straightening the slat. This curved nature gives more strength and durability. 
Straight slats are also fairly common and tend to be slightly thicker than sprung slats. There is no real difference in the firmness of the bed, whether used on sprung slats or straight slats.

Yes, some of the bedframes we offer do come with storage. The type of storage varies frame to frame, but there are some with end drawers and some with drawers on the sides. There are also several options, including Ottoman storage. You can view other Ottoman Divan bases here.

All our fabric bedsteads are delivered flat-packed, so access should not be an issue. However, we are always on hand to offer advice or to check on any dimensions you wish. You can contact us here.

Yes, the assembly of the beds is something you'll need to do. They are typically very easy to assemble, and should not take longer than 15-20mins or so. All of the bedframes we offer come with the tools required.
