The Emma Diamond Firm Mattress is the firm Emma mattress. This is the choice of those looking for support rather than 'cloud-like' comfort, and it may even be too firm for some people. This Emma mattress is made from three key layers, all of which are unique and of very high quality.

- The foundation layer is the deepest. This HRX Foam (HRX stands for "High Resiliency Extra" foam)is designed to keep your spine straight and aligned for maximum support, rest and recuperation, no matter which position you sleep in. This layer is the deepest and also forms the layer upon which the two top layers are anchored. This deep layer is also zoned, to provide additional support to the lumbar region. There are also airflow channels to ensure a comfortable temperature and moisture level are maintained at all times.

- The middle layer in this Emma mattress is a layer of Adaptive Visco-elastic foam that offers pressure relief precisely where it is required, mirroring the contours of the body to provide excellent supportive comfort.

- The top layer is a wonderfully comfortable and durable layer of temperature-regulating "Diamond Degree" graphite-infused cooling foam. This layer is excellent at drawing away excess heat and ensuring a deeper night's sleep. Graphite has long been used in the bed industry, thanks to its cooling ability as well as the fact that it prevents bacteria from forming.
