    Product Description

The Harrison Spinks Meadowfold 11,000 Mattress is a medium-tension, no-turn mattress that combines layered pocket spring technology with generous natural fillings for balanced support and a softly cushioned surface. Part of the Adam Henson Collection, it reflects the Harrison Spinks loyalty to British farming and traditional craftsmanship, using lustrous Cotswold wool chosen by Adam from rare and indigenous breeds. The result is a composed, breathable, durable mattress that is as comfortable as it is well-made.

Experience the luxury of British farming and natural materials
The cover of this Harrison Spinks mattress is a British Wool and viscose blend that offers a naturally soft, temperature-responsive cover, as luxurious as it is attractive. This super-soft, chemical-free finish delivers a breathable, skin-friendly surface for every sleeper. Under this sit progressively supportive layers of natural wool, hemp, and flax, followed by rare breed and indigenous Cotswold wool, then a wool and mohair blend for additional resilience and moisture management. A further layer of Golden Fleece Wool adds a luxury, cloud-like feel to the top while helping the mattress respond evenly as you move throughout the night. Sustainable Ecotex comfort and base layers are integrated throughout to provide essential structure and long-term durability.

Discover advanced support through multi-layered spring technology
The Meadowfold 11,000 mattress features a sophisticated pocket spring system that works in stages to gradually and efficiently distribute body weight and reduce pressure build-up, which is a key cause of aches and pains in the back and lumbar region. High-density HD 4000 micro springs sit above two layers of HD 2500 micro springs to give accurate contouring near the surface. Deeper in the mattress, Cortec Quad Revolution springs provide the primary support and help keep the spine aligned, while Posturfil pocket springs add extra responsiveness and assist with motion control. These layers are hand tufted to secure the fillings and maintain the mattress shape, effectively minimising partner disturbance and sustaining a stable feel across the whole sleeping area, meaning you can sleep comfortably right up to the edge.

Ensure long-lasting comfort with simple maintenance
As a no-turn mattress, the Meadowfold 11,000 requires regular head-to-toe rotation (spinning around) rather than flipping (turning). We recommend rotating the mattress once per season, though it should be spun weekly for the first month after delivery to ensure even settlement. This careful rotation allows the natural materials to settle uniformly and supports a long-term consistency of feel across the entire surface. By following this simple maintenance routine, you protect the integrity of the internal layers and ensure the mattress continues to provide the balanced support and spinal alignment it was designed to deliver. Harrison Spinks has backed the Meadowfold with a 10-year guarantee.

    Questions & Answers (3)

Can this Harrison Spinks Meadowfold mattress be used on a slatted bedframe?

The Harrison Spinks Meadowfold 11,000 Mattress can be used on a slatted bedstead, as long as the slats are not more than 7cm apart from each other. If the slats are further apart than 7cm, it can cause the springs inside to fail over time. However, there are several free solutions to this problem if your slats are more than 7cm apart. Get in touch for more information.

Is this Harrison Spinks mattress one that can be flipped over?

The Harrison Spinks Meadowfold 11,000 Mattress is a no-turn mattress, only needing to be rotated (spun head to toe) once per season, although we suggest this is done weekly for the first month after delivery, to ensure even settlement.

Where is the Adam Henson Meadowfold mattress made?

The Harrison Spinks Meadowfold 11,000 Mattress is made in Yorkshire, England, at the Harrison Spinks factory and farm.

    Home Grown
Harrison Spinks stands out among bed-makers because it operates its own farm, where it raises sheep for specific types of wool ideal for mattresses. Additionally, they grow their own flax and hemp. This practice not only enhances the comfort and durability of their mattresses but also demonstrates their commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

    Hand Made
Some mattress manufacturers can produce a mattress from start to finish in just minutes using conveyor-belt production methods. In contrast, Harrison Spinks handcrafts its mattresses, employing the highest-quality practices and finishing with exceptional attention to detail. This dedication to craftsmanship has earned them a global reputation for producing high-quality beds.

    Support for Farms
Adam Henson has partnered with Harrison Spinks to support British farming by incorporating rare-breed Cotswold wool into luxury mattresses. This "farm-to-bed" approach uses natural, breathable, chemical-free, and sustainable fibres. Combining this wool with glue-free spring technology, his mattresses promote biodiversity and benefit local farmers. The result is handcrafted, 100% recyclable mattresses.
