The Regal Signature mattress is built around the latest generation of Pocket Spring unit used by Hypnos. A Pocket Spring is designed to move up and down like a piston as weight is applied, focussing the weight energy into one spring in particular and therefore no other springs are compromised. This up and down movement is very accurate and means that your body will be given the best support possible, instantly and without any compromise, the springs mirroring the form of the body. Hypnos' springs take this to another level, however, and have become the industry benchmark. Not only does each spring work on its own, and compress under pressure, but a Hypnos spring will also respond and react to the amount of pressure applied. So as more weight is applied to a spring, so it gets firmer and offers more support. This wonderful technique is unique to Hypnos, and the result is not only absolutely supreme comfort, but also precise and instant support exactly when and where it is needed. Gone are the days of opting for a firm mattress if you require support, all Hypnos springs offer great support once weight is applied.

As well as having the best spring unit on the market, Hypnos have also applied their own blend of carefully considered fillings to the Signature mattress. The hand-applied layers are all painstakingly applied, layer upon layer, which is a time consuming and skilled job. The filling selection is incredible and includes British Lambs Wool (as with all Hypnos mattresses), Cashmere, Pashmina, Bamboo (excellent at maintaining a cool and dry sleep environment), Silk and Silver (beneficial to blood circulation and recuperation), among others. This incredible list of fillings is deep and even and unbelievably comfortable. This is a no-turn mattress, and so only requires rotating once per season.

The cover fabric selected by Hypnos for this Signature mattress is very tactile indeed and is as attractive as it is durable. This fabric is a Wool and Viscose Belgian Damask fabric and carries the "Hypnos - God of Sleep" logo, as all current Hypnos mattresses do. The Signature mattress is tufted - another skilled role in the factory. These tufts ensure that the fillings remain in place throughout the mattress' long life, but also aid the refinement of the firmness of the mattress, helping to bind the springs and fillings together at a controlled level, night after night. There are handles on all sides of this mattress, and Hypnos have also built-in chrome breather vents on all sides too, enabling the air to pass through unobstructed, managing the heat and moisture levels further. This mattress has 3 rows of side stitched bordering, designed to increase the strength of the sidewalls, which can increase the size of the comfortable sleeping area (by 10% in a Double size).
