The smallest mattress we stock is the small single, which is ideal for children and people with smaller bedrooms looking to make the most of space. Despite the smaller size, we carry small single mattresses from some of our most popular brands, and can offer speedy delivery for those we don't have in stock.

Please note:
- A common problem some customers may have is to purchase 2 Small Single mattresses to be placed on a Kingsize bed (same total width), but then find the length is different. A Kingsize bed is 3" (10cm) longer.
- Some Children's bunk beds have a maximum limit for the mattress depth. Information can usually be found in the details of the bed in particular, but we're on hand to advise if needed.

Small Single mattresses are 75cm X 190cm (2’6” X 6’3”).
Some handmade mattresses do have a tolerance of a few millimetres.
What is the best small single mattress?
We suggest something with good support, but that may not mean a firmer feel is required. Where children are involved, we recommend something softer than average. We would also advise avoiding foam or man-made products as this can restrict the body’s movement during the night.
Who is a small single mattress best suited for?
A small single mattress can be used on any bed (but check the care guide or contact us to confirm). If you're using a slatted bedframe, the slats cannot be more than 7cm apart from each other. Where bunk beds are concerned; please note that there may be a maximum height permitted for the top bunk mattress.
