The Arctic Ortho 1950 is made up of four main layers. The mattress core is formed around a firm, 1950 pocket spring layer. 1950 Pocketed springs, arranged expertly to provide precise support across five zones. These zones bring out the true performance of the mattress, giving you extra support where you need it most, and comfort where it really is required.

This spring layer is sandwiched between two layers of extra supportive Posture Foam. The springs sit atop of a layer of this supportive foam to form the base, whilst another 4cm layer is placed on top for added comfort and support. These layers are surrounded by an aerodynamic, Airtech border. This border is designed to keep the airflow through the mattress consistent, helping you to stay cooler and sleep deeper throughout the night.

The Ortho 1950 is topped with the award-winning X8 iceCloud foam. This incredible technology adapts to your body to dynamically reduce all of your pressure points, instantly cooling you and wicking away heat from your body. The foam used in the Ortho 1950 mattress has passed the German OEKO-TEX 100 (Level 6). This means that this mattress has been independently tested for the safety of the materials used, physical performance and environmental stewardship.
