Relyon Langton Mattress

The Relyon Langton mattress is a great mattress, finished with the attention to detail that reflects its regal name. Luxury, natural fillings compliment hand-tied and hand-nested springs, whilst hand side-stitching provides fantastic edge-to-edge support. This Relyon mattress is available in a choice of Soft, Medium or Firm tension, so you can be sure that this excellent mattress will be just right for you, no matter what your preference.

The Langton is a pocket sprung mattress. With 2000 individual hand-tied and hand-nested pocket springs within the Langton, the support offered by this mattress is superb. Each spring is individually sewn into fabric pockets and hand-nested in a honeycomb pattern and hand-tied with linen cord. This structure, alongside the benefits of pocket springs, works to ensure that movement transfer is eliminated to give you a peaceful night's sleep. The pocket springs move up and down like a piston, perfectly matching the contours of your body as you move in the night, and working to prevent pressure points from forming, the common cause of aches and pains.

On top of the pocket springs are deep layers of natural fillings, each with individual roles within the mattress. Lambswool is used as a soft and insulating upholstery layer. As a natural insulator, the lambswool layer provides comfort and helps keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter, whilst also helping to remove moisture from the mattress. Natural hair helps further insulate the mattress whilst contributing to providing optimum support to you as you sleep and a naturally responsive cotton layer helps to complement the springs and increase breathability in the mattress.

Three rows of hand-side stitching secure the outer springs to the border at the top and bottom. This prevents the springs from rolling out and strengthens the borders and edges of the mattress lengthening of the lifespan of the mattress. The mattress is also hand-tufted, binding the springs and fillings in place at a set tension to create the firmness level of your choice.

The cover of the mattress featured flag-stitched handles for ease of manoeuvrability when turning and side air vents to maintain a dry and fresh sleeping environment. The mattress is also treated with M-Pure, a 100% sustainable, biodegradable and eco-friendly retardant with natural ingredients.

This is a turnable mattress. We recommend that the mattress is turned and rotated once a week or so for the first three months after purchase and once per month after this. This will help to allow the fillings to settle evenly.
