The Sealy Waltham mattress is part of the Advantage Collection - a range of beds made to showcase four distinctive types of fillings and feels. The Waltham mattress has PostureTech springs topped with a deep layer of luxurious Latex. Whilst the Waltham is not quite the range-topping model, it is the deepest mattress in the collection at 29cm deep. This wonderfully comfortable mattress blends the soft latex with the supportive springs to result in a medium feel mattress.
The PostureTech Springs in the core of this mattress is built in-house by Sealy, and offer superb support and comfort as well as excellent durability. Sealy is the world's biggest bed maker and has built its reputation on making scientifically developed mattresses, proven to enhance sleep and boost rejuvenation each night. These PostureTech springs will support you whilst you sleep and will promote good posture, preventing pressure points from forming, which are the common cause of aches and pains.
As well as using the PostureTech springs, Sealy has also added the Edgeguard technology to this mattress, increasing the strength of the sidewalls and making the mattress far more stable and rigid than it would be otherwise. This is a no-turn mattress and so the deep layer of natural latex is only found on one side of the mattress. Latex is a natural material that will instantly mould to the body contours, without requiring heat to do so. Not only this, but Latex will remain cool at all times and is naturally a deterrent for bed bugs and mites.
The Waltham mattress has been finished in a beautifully tactile and comfortable cover material and Sealy has backed this mattress with a 5-year guarantee.

EdgeGuard
A common complaint about mattresses is their weak sidewalls. Sealy has addressed this issue for the Waltham with its Edgeguard system, which reinforces the edge for a stable feel. As a result, you can comfortably sleep up to the edge without worrying about rolling off.
Turnable
The Sealy Waltham mattress is a no-turn mattress, meaning it does not need to be flipped over, just rotated (spun around). This makes caring for the mattress very easy. The mattress should be rotated once per season to ensure it remains even and consistent.
Latex
Latex is an excellent material for mattresses because it stays cool and comfortable at all times. It conforms quickly to your body shape, which helps prevent pressure points. Additionally, latex is hypoallergenic and has outstanding temperature-regulating properties.
