Shire Beds Active Celebration Gala 1000

The Shire Beds Active Celebration Gala 1000 is part of the Active Response Collection, a range of mattresses aimed at those who lead hectic lives and need to have a restful and rejuvenating nights sleep. Built around a 1000 Pocket Spring unit, this mattress has layers of fibre fillings on both sides, as it is a turnable mattress.

The 1000 Pocket Springs at the core of this mattress are all set in a fabric pocket, keeping them apart from one another. The result of this is that when one spring is compressed, it will have no effect on its neighbouring springs, so you can be assured of the accuracy of support. Each spring will move up and down like a piston to mirror the contours of the body.

As well as the supportive spring unit, there are layers of fibre fillings applied to the top and bottom of the mattress, so this mattress can be turned over once per season (although we recommend it is turned more often in the first few weeks after delivery).

This is a quilted mattress, with a smooth surface. There are handles for easy movement when required, and there are also breather vents to aid temperature and moisture control throughout the night.
