The Shire Beds Active Celebration Merrim is superb value for money! This medium feel mattress is comfortable and supportive, designed for those who want comfort and support without breaking the bank. With a 13.5 gauge Open Coil spring unit, and deep layers of fillings, this is an excellent mattress, and certainly one of our more popular options.
The Merrim mattress has a 13.5 Gauge spring unit, a mesh of springs that easily, efficiently and instantly spreads body weight across the mattress. These springs are the most commonly used type in mattresses around the World, and their durability is second to none.
Shire Beds have added deep layers of fibre fillings to the mattress. This is a turnable mattress, so both sleeping surfaces have the fillings in equal measure. Soft and breathable, the fillings are evenly spread across the mattress and work in harmony with the supportive springs underneath.
The Merrim mattress is quilted. The smooth surfaces are then wrapped in a luxuriously soft and tactile stretch-knit cover material that is as tactile as it is durable.
The Shire Beds Active Celebration Merrim mattress has breather vents for easy movement of air through the mattress.
