Shire Beds Active Jubilee

The Shire Beds Active Jubilee mattress is a superb mattress, part of the Active Shire Collection and designed to offer excellent support and comfort, ensuring a restful and rejuvenating nights sleep. This mattress has 2000 Pocket Springs and layers of natural, luxurious fillings. This is a superb mattress for the price tag!

The 2000 Pocket Springs at the core of this mattress move up and down as weight is applied, moving like a piston to provide support where and when it is needed. Each spring is sat within its own 'pocket' of fabric, which keeps the springs apart from each other to prevent compromise. Each spring will, therefore, only move as it is compressed, allowing the mattress to be precise in the support given.

On top of the supportive springs, there is a deep layer of Supportive Foam. This foam works in harmony with the Pocket Springs and balances the support with comfort, blending the two aspects of this mattress perfectly. There is also a layer of Memory Foam, soft and comfortable, this is a layer than provides the luxurious feel, which is then topped off with Soft Chip Foam, the same foam but in nugget-like balls that allow air to move freely and feel softer than the foam layer underneath. Shire Beds have then topped the mattress with luxury fillings of Silk and Mohair for a breathable, luxurious feel.

This mattress is a foam encapsulated mattress. This means that there is a framework of supportive foam on all sides, creating strong sidewalls and increasing the size of the comfortable sleeping area by as much as 10% (in a Double Size).

This is a quilted mattress, smooth on the surface, and is finished in a temperature regulating material to help the mattress remain cool and comfortable at all times. As a no-turn mattress, the Active Jubilee will only need rotating once per season, although we recommend this is done more often in the early weeks after delivery.
