The Eco Deep 1000 mattress has layers of natural fillings and a 1000 Pocket Spring unit, all working in harmony to provide support and comfort at a superb price.

This mattress has 1000 Pocket Springs at its core, each working alone to support the body throughout the night. Each spring is sat within its own 'pocket' of fabric, ensuring that when one spring moves, they have no effect on their neighbouring springs, creating accurate and precise support. As the body applies weight to one spring, it will move down under compression to mirror the contours of the body and support you. In a normal spring unit, the springs are linked together, so one spring under compression will result in the surrounding springs moving, which is not good for the accuracy of support. A Pocket Spring does not do this, so good posture through support can be assured.

As well as the springs, this Shire Beds mattress has deep layers of natural fillings. Not only are these fillings natural and very comfortable, but they also allow air to flow freely through the mattress, helping it stay cool and comfortable at all times. These fillings are also very good at preventing bed bugs and dust mites from thriving. Shire Beds have treated this mattress with Ecoshield, a totally natural product from the oil of the Eucalyptus Citriodora tree, which is well known for its properties in giving sinus relief, fighting colds, flu, bronchitis and other respiratory diseases. Eucalyptus oil also has anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties.

This is a turnable mattress, needing to be flipped over once per season as well as rotated. There are handles for easy movement when required.
