We will do one of three things:
- A local charity may want it. We have given them many items in the last year
- We may recycle the mattress
- Some mattresses cannot be recycled, and so we use a local disposal service to take care of the goods.
Product Description
The Shire Bed Co. Monet 1000 is the firmest option in the Artisan Collection. By using the excellent Shire Beds pocket spring unit and packing loads of firmer, natural fillings around it, the Monet is the perfect option for those who want a natural mattress with a firmer feel.
The 1000 Pocket Springs used are layered expertly to provide an incredibly supportive core to the Monet 1000. The springs still move independently of one another but are designed to feel much firmer than other models in the Artisan collection.
Packed around the supportive springs are firm, compact layers of cotton and wool. Both of these natural fibres are naturally soft, but when packed tightly inside the mattress they take nothing away from the firm support from the springs. These natural fibres add comfort to the support that is in ample supply with the Monet 1000 Mattress. Cotton and Wool have natural properties that assist airflow in the mattress, naturally wicking away moisture and keeping you cool and comfortable throughout the night.
Hand made in the Shire Bed Co. factory in West Yorkshire, the Monet 1000 is a tufted, no turn mattress. The Monet 1000 should still be rotated seasonally, however. MyNextmattress recommends rotating this mattress more often immediately after purchase, to allow the natural fibres to settle correctly.
The Monet 1000 is paired partnered with a Shire Bed Co. Divan Base or Ottoman.
