The Shire Bed Co. Trent 1000 mattress combines the supportive adaptability of pocket springs with natural fibres and a cooling gel layer. Topped with a soft Belgian Viscose fabric cover, the Trent 1000 mattress is truly a work of art.

The main feature of the Trent 1000 is a state of the art cool-gel layer. This gel has been developed by Shire Beds with the specific aim of regulating body heat as you sleep. The gel is designed to keep you cool and dry throughout the night, by wicking away excess moisture and keeping excess heat away from other areas of the mattress. As well as this, the gel layer provides a comfortable, bouncy feel to the mattress - the science of keeping cool cannot ignore the science of comfort!

At the core of the Trent 1000 is a 1000 Pocket Spring unit. These 1000 individual pocket springs all move independently of one another, providing precise, tailored support where you need it most. These springs are reinforced at the edges of the mattress by foam encapsulation. A wall of foam surrounds the springs, increasing edge support and reducing the sensation of rolling off the mattress by creating a firm edge. This not increases the durability of the mattress sides but also increases the usable mattress surface area, meaning you can spread out as much as you wish after a long day.

This mattress is a no-turn mattress, meaning you only need to rotate this mattress to maintain it. We recommend a seasonal rotation, with an increased frequency of rotation immediately after purchase. The Trent 1000 is topped with a soft-touch Belgian Viscose Stretch Cover, for added comfort.
