The Shire Bed Co. Trent 2000 mattress features layers of pocket springs packed with natural fibres and is fully foam encapsulated for a firmer edge. With a layer of cooling gel a soft-touch Viscose cover, the Trent 2000 is an excellent medium feel mattress. 

The Trent 2000 is features a state of the art cool-gel layer.  Shire Beds have developed this gel with the specific aim of regulating body heat during your sleep. The gel is designed to keep you cool and dry throughout the night, wicking away excess moisture and keeping excess heat away from other areas of the mattress. As well as this, the gel layer provides a bouncy, comfortable feel to the mattress

2000 Pocket springs form the core of this mattress. These 2000 individual pocket springs all move independently of one another, providing targeted, tailored support where you need it most. These springs are reinforced at the edges of the mattress by foam encapsulation. A wall of foam surrounds the springs, increasing edge support and reducing the sensation of rolling off the mattress by creating a firm edge. This not increases the durability of the mattress sides but also increases the usable mattress surface area, meaning you can spread out as much as you wish after a long day.

This mattress is a no-turn mattress, meaning you only need to rotate this mattress to maintain it. We recommend a seasonal rotation, with an increased frequency of rotation immediately after purchase. The Trent 2000 is topped with a soft-touch Belgian Viscose Stretch Cover, for added comfort.
