Product Description
The Welland Beds Cirrus 3000 Mattress, a premium offering designed for those seeking a blend of luxury and practical comfort in their sleep experience. This mattress, measuring an impressive 38cm in depth, promises not only a restful sleep but also a touch of elegance in any bedroom setting.
At the heart of the Cirrus 3000 is its 3000 pocket spring system. These springs work independently to offer pinpoint support throughout the night, adapting to your body's movements and contours. This system is particularly beneficial for individuals sharing a bed, as it minimises motion transfer, ensuring an undisturbed sleep.
Encasing these springs is a robust foam encapsulation, which serves a dual purpose. It enhances the mattress's structural integrity, particularly along the edges, preventing sagging and maintaining shape over time. Additionally, this feature provides a larger sleeping surface by strengthening the sidewalls.
What sets the Cirrus 3000 apart is its sumptuous single-sided pillow top, an embodiment of luxury. This layer is a careful composition of natural materials – cotton, wool, silk, and cashmere. Each material contributes uniquely: cotton for its breathability, wool for its temperature-regulating properties, silk for its smoothness, and cashmere for its softness and warmth. This blend not only offers a plush, comforting surface but also ensures a healthy sleep environment.
In terms of firmness, the mattress strikes a perfect balance with its medium firmness rating. It offers ample support for the spine while providing enough cushioning to relieve pressure points. This makes it a versatile choice, suitable for a wide range of sleepers with different comfort preferences.
Maintenance of the Cirrus 3000 is made effortless by its 'no turn' design. Instead of the arduous task of flipping the mattress, it simply requires rotation from head to toe. This feature is a practical consideration for a mattress of its size and depth, ensuring longevity and consistent comfort.
In summary, the Welland Beds Cirrus 3000 Mattress is a sophisticated choice for those who value comfort infused with luxury. Its thoughtful combination of high-quality materials and advanced design offers a sleep experience that is both rejuvenating and indulgent. Whether for everyday use or as a lavish addition to a guest room, the Cirrus 3000 is an investment in quality sleep.

Glossary
- Firmness
MyNextMattress is developing a new and unique solution to the Firmness scale accuracy. Not seen anywhere else in the World, we will be measuring the Firmness of all our mattresses precisely and in detail.
We are the only company in the Country that will actually measure the Firmness of a mattress and give a grading out of 10. We are always aware that choosing your next mattress can be a difficult and time consuming process, therefore we strive to give as much information as possible on every mattress we sell.
The way our system works is by applying weight to a mattress. We will apply weight gradually and measure the amount the mattress dips. The more weight, the more the mattress will 'sink'. We would then measure the distance the mattress dips and plot these measurements (weight and distance) on a graph. This graph can then be used to tell us the Firmness category the mattress fits into, 7 out of 10 for instance.
Our Firmness Device provides a central rod which we apply weights to, on the bottom end there is a disc which pushes into the mattress. The top of this rod supports the weights and will sink according to the 'give' in a mattress. We measure from this point.
As a result of this unique technique, it will be possible for you to shop by the firmness of a mattress, this is not possible anywhere else. - Foam Encapsulation
Foam Encapsulation is a recent addition to the bedding market. An idea designed to offer greater edge-to-edge support as well offering greater Bedstead/Slatted base compatibility.
The idea is simple; Create a spring unit and then sit it in a 'matchbox' of Foam. As you can see in the diagram below, the spring unit is surrounded on all sides by a layer of Memory Foam. This foam gives a solid, stable feel to the mattress and allows the spring unit to be completely separated from the mattresses fillings and cushion.
Once the spring unit is set in the foam and the foam glued together, it can be surrounded by fillings and fibre to create the traditional look for a mattress or can be given a Pillow Top for even more comfort. - Pocket Sprung
Pocket Sprung units are an adaption of the traditional open coil/continuous spring unit. By placing each spring in its own individual 'pocket' (a fabric sock-like pouch), the spring is not joined to any other part of the mattress. The pocket that supports the spring is then joined to its neighbouring pockets and this effect creates a unique feel.
By creating a spring unit in this way, it allows the springs to move independently, rather than sharing the pressure with surrounding springs. This effect allows for much more accurate contour following and a more comfortable feel overall.
If you were to push your hand into a traditionally sprung mattress, the area around your hand would dip/sink too. With Pocket Springs, this sunken area is much more remote and therefore more accurately follows the contours of the pressure source. There are differences in the techniques used to create Pocket Springs, but more or less they remain the same. - Turn / No Turn
Some mattresses require turning over, to aid even settlement. Others do not require turning, but will still require rotating.
