The Hypnos Hideaway storage base is an ingenious design, created to offer a beautifully simple solution to the storage issues most bedrooms encounter. The Hideaway base has multiple options, but the most popular is the 'hollow' base, which allows for complete access of the base from both sides. This stunning base is available in any one of Hypnos' choice of 29 wonderful colours, and is hand crafted to the very highest standards - as you would expect of Hypnos Beds, holders of the Royal Warrant.

This bed base is as durable as it is strong, and can be offered with a 3 distinct and unique options. As with any Hypnos bed (not Single Size), the base is split in two, from head to toe. You can select a completely hollow base, to offer maximum storage ability. You can select one half of the base as hollow, and the other half with two standard drawers or as a sealed unit with no drawers.

This Hypnos base is available in any one of the Hypnos Swatch of materials and colours, and looks stunning in all. The craftsmanship of the Hypnos craftsmen and women is second to none, and this is evident in the superb tailoring and finish of this base in particular. The fabric drapes that cover the large storage space are weighted, enabling a flawless finish to transform any bedroom space. If matching one half of the base as a Hideaway, and the other half as two drawers or no drawers, then both halves still come with weighted drapes to ensure an even and consistent finish and appearance.

I have read that this is a very heavy base. Do you take to the room of choice and assemble?

Yes, we deliver to the room of choice as standard, always. The assembly is fairly straight forward and this is something we can do too, but you would need to contact us prior to purchase to ensure it can be done in your area.

Does the headboard come with bed?

The headboard and mattress are additional items to be purchased with the Hypnos Hideaway bed.

Where is the Hypnos Hideaway storage bed made?

The Hypnos Hideaway divan base is made in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, England.

Is the Hypnos storage bed difficult to install or does it arrive ready for use ?

Yes, this is very easy to assemble, the castor feet clip into sockets and the two halves are linked together. The base is quite heavy though, and so we deliver to the room of choice for you!

Hi there, in the King size hideaway bed would I be able to fit a spare single mattress underneath for guests?

Yes, absolutely! The Hypnos Hideaway divan base is more than big enough to have a spare mattress stored underneath. It is large enough to have suitcases or similar items as well as a spare mattress.

Does the Hypnos Hideaway single come flat packed and need assembly

No, this is fully made up ready to go upon delivery. The gliders (feet) to this base do need putting in place, however.

I want to have storage throughout with drapes on both sides - is this Hideaway/hideaway option?

Yes, that's the full Hideaway / Hideaway on both sides. Completely 'hollow' and with the drapes all around.

is hideaway king size base comes as two linked single bases? Our staircase is not big enough to bring a full size double base up.

Hypnos Hideaway bases above a Single size all come in two divan halves, North/South split, so this should be fine!

Hello Does the Hypnos Hideaway Superking base come with curtains on both sides? I will be using this for a zip and link Hypnos mattress and need the curtains on both sides for when we have the single bed formation.

No, the curtains sit on the outer side of the base only.

What hight is hypnos hydeaway divan base

This base is approximately 39cm deep.

Is your King-size Divan + Mattress: 1. 200 cm long? 2. Complete with headboard for the quoted internet price? 3. Assembled for us by your delivery team without additional cost? 4. And do you offer removal and recycling of the existing cabin bed and mattresses which it would replace? If so, what is the additional cost?

Yes, 200cm is the correct length. We offer the headboard and mattresses as separate products, but if you're looking to purchase more than one item, we can offer a discount. We do not offer an assembly service at this moment in time. We do take the old bed away, and this option is shown in the checkout.

I see that the base of the hideaway is 39cms in height but I would like to know the actual height of the storage underneath as my suitcases are 12” just over 30cms, would they go in? Thank you.

Unfortunately, the height of the internal storage space is exactly 29.5cm.
