This Super Storage Ottoman base is available in a large choice of colours and is strong enough to support even the heaviest Hypnos mattress.

The Hypnos Super Storage Ottoman is designed to offer convenience as well as plenty of storage space. The base lifts from the foot end of the bed and requires little effort to do so. The gas pistons are of the highest quality, ensuring durability and stability throughout the long lifespan of the bed. This Hypnos Ottoman base is very strong and very heavy. The Hypnos Ottoman base is delivered in two halves, which simply require fixing together, all gas pistons and the lids are already in place.

This Hypnos Super Storage base is compatible with any headboard (Hypnos or otherwise). As the lid of this mattress moves up, the mattress on top will arch backwards slightly, so there are wooden spacer blocks to prevent the mattress from clashing with the headboard once the lid is lifted. Furthermore; this Hypnos base has wooden 'stoppers' to prevent the mattress from sliding backwards once the ottoman lid is lifted.

This base is available on high-quality chrome castors which are strong enough to support the base and mattress above and allow for easy movement when required. There is also the option of braking castors, which will prevent any movement. Where this Hypnos base is to be placed on a wooden or laminated floor - we strongly suggest the use of castor cups to prevent damage to the floor.

For Hypnos Ottoman Storage Bases in Single or Small Single sizes, the minimum mattress weight is 23kg. The maximum mattress weight is 44kg.
For Hypnos Ottoman Storage Bases in Small Double, Double, Kingsize, Super Kingsize or larger, the minimum mattress weight is 30kg and the maximum mattress weight is 88kg.
