At the heart of this Shakespeare mattress is a 1000 Pocket Sprung mattress, which not only offers a wonderful level of soft, sumptuous comfort, but also supports the body where required. Each spring can focus on a small area of the body, and will only move up or down, not effecting surrounding springs. The result of this is that the springs can support the body very precisely indeed, encouraging posture and preventing aches and pains in the morning.
Packed full of soft, natural fillings, the Lancaster 1000 is as comfortable as a mattress can be. The surface layers of this turnable mattress boast the most welcoming and opulent fillings of any mattress. The surface layers comprise of natural fillings, meaning they breath easily, staying cool and dry and therefore further increasing the comfort on offer. These layers also encourage the movement of air through the mattresses and it's quilted borders, so the mattress will remain dry throughout it's long life span.
The cover material used on the Lancaster 1000 is a stretch knit, every bit as refined and lush as the mattress itself. This fabric is soft and silky smooth, and will stand the test of time.
