The Shakespeare Leonardo 1000 mattress is part of the excellent Pocket Sprung Collection, from this West Midlands based manufacturer. The Leonardo has a 1000 Pocket Spring unit and a deep layer of natural fillings on the surface, including Wool and Silk.
This all-time best selling mattress has been in our Top 10 list for more than 6 years, and rightly so. This mattress punches well above it's weight and offers the best value that we can offer.
This Shakespeare mattress has a 1000 Pocket Spring unit at its' core. This spring unit offers precise and instant support for the body, promoting good posture and ensuring there are no early morning aches and pains. Each spring is independent from the surrounding springs, which means there is zero compromise on the support offered.
The Leonardo comes complete with a breathable Silk knitted luxury cover to give better air circulation. This Shakespeare mattress features generous layers of natural fillings, including Wool, Silk and other natural fibres, which add to the unique comfortable feel.
40mm of Relfex foam adds a responsive pressure relieving dynamic to the mattress. Reflex foam compliments the other technologies within the Leonardo by helping muscle recovery as the foam instantly pushes back as you place weight on it.
The Shakespeare Leonardo is a hand tufted mattress. This is a traditional technique of mattress upholstery where the fillings are secured by hand with tufts from the top of the mattress to the bottom (the dimple like effect on the surface). This technique prevents lumps from building up within the mattress which create uncomfortable pressure points.
